Recently, when I press enter to print a register report, instead of printing qkn 05p r3 closes (this happens occasionally not every time). It reopens w/o problems & recent data entered are present. I have validated the file w/o errors reported. Anyone w/ ideas?? dj

I'd suspect the printer driver. Try updating the printer driver. If that doesn't work, try deleting the printer and re-creating it.
Thanks -- will try that (discovered it also occurs w/alt-p) so it makes sense that the printer is involved. dj
Did check & the print driver has not been updated, so that is not the problem (printer is Brother HL-5140) & it has worked until recently. I checked & this does not occur w/HP 7550 so this is a printer issue. I know I can change printers w/in qkn but I recall that there is a file that can be deleted & when qkn is restarted it will restore & allow you to redefine printers that you wish to use for reports & checks. Does anyone know the name & extension for this file? dj
