Updating Quicken Deluxe 2000 to Quicken Premiere 2006

Hi,



Just purchased QP06 from Amazon.com for $49.99 after $20 rebate. I know I'm a little late in asking these questions:


  1. Is there an inexpensive "update" version of QP06 or is the full version the only one available?
  2. Will I be able to transfer all my historical data from QD00 to QP06? It's a big jump.

I'm currently keying-in or using copy-paste to transfer all the Q Inventory data to Access 2003 (will keep just the totals in Quicken) and sure hope I'm not looking at even more manual transfers.

There's no "inexpensive update" version. You just got Quicken Premier for ~$50 with free shipping. That's the best deal going, TMK. Yes, your data will convert from 00 to 06. Create an extra back up and stash it away in a safe place. Then validate your data files and go ahead with the upgrade.
