Using Quicken Deluxe 2009 on more than one computer

Nov 28, 2009 3 Replies

I wanted to know if I could use my Quicken Deluxe 2009 on both my laptop and my desktop without having to buy an additional copy. My Kaspersky antivirus software lets me install one key on up to 3 personal computers. Just curious if Quicken will allow the same. Thank you!

Yes, you can set up on more than 1 computer, don't know how many legally, I think at least three.

Hi, Mike.

In Quicken Deluxe 2010, in Help | Appendixes | Software License Agreement, when I scroll way down past paragraph 18 to Quicken Supplemental License and Terms of Services, that section 1 (I) starts off: (i) Single User License. You may install and use a copy of the Software on up to three (3) computers used by a single household.

You might look to see if Q2009 has a similar sentence.

I think this statement dates back to Q2006 or 7. But that is by 65+ year- old memory, so subject to corruption ...
