When i try to validate my data fie in quicken 2010 premier, i get an error stating "Quicken can't open data file because it is in use by some other application"
The only application i have in use is quicken. Can anyone help me figure out how to fix this?
You certainly have other applications in use, you just don't realize it.
Reboot your computer into safe mode and try it.
quicken validation works fine with windows in safe mode. How do i go about finding the application that prevents me from validating. I looked into the "Answers that Work" data and could find nothing. I also looked in Windows Task Manager and found nothing
