Viewing Downloaded Transactions

Apr 28, 2013 4 Replies

The ability to view downloaded transactions has totally disappeared. I can no longer seem to get the window at the bottom of the page showing the downloaded transactions so I can accept them iehter individually or all at once. I don't know what I did to make it dissappear. I looked in HELP, but the reference when in an account clicking on the Downloaded Transactions tab. But, I do not see such a tab. Probably a simple fix, but I don't see it.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, Mark.

As a starting point, since you didn't mention it: What is your screen resolution, especially vertical. Maybe the information you are looking for is off the bottom of your "window".

You might have accidentally hit the small down-triangle at the far right end of the bar below "Downloaded Transactions"; that collapses the lines you are looking for. Click that triangle again to expand that panel.

Which version of Quicken. (Probably doesn't matter, but we never know.)

I appreciate your comments. I am using version R12 (22.1.12.7).

I can now assure you that I have looked at every possible spot on the screen. I can see the entire screen. There is no where else to move. I do not see anything showing "Downloaded Transactions" anywhere.

I cannot figure out where it was lost to.

Do you think I should just take a back up and then reinstall. Or, will the backup just have the retained settings so once i open in a reinstalled application, the same issue will be there.

There's a Preference that controls this: See Edit / Preferences / Register / Downloaded transactions. You can set transactions in banking registers or investment registers to be automatically added.

Each individual account can be set to override the general preference: Go to the account, click the settings gear, Edit Account Details and the Online Services tab. See what it says about "Automatic entry".
