Wells Fargo Online with Comcast Internet

I've had very spotty service on my Online Download of Wells Fargo account transactions to my Quicken 2013 Deluxe. Generally, the failures, often reported as 555 error codes only last a day or two. Yesterday, I was approaching a due date for a transfer from W-F checking to W-F Visa card, and was unable to get the Quicken connection, so I tried to just go online to the Wells Fargo site. There, too, I was unable to sign-on. So, I jumped on Google and found dozens of references to complaints about access to the Wells Fargo Online banking site, and for Quicken access from customers using a Comcast internet connection. Several people reference the problem back to the middle of December when there was a quasi-acknowledged DOS attack on several banks including W-F.

Kind of hard for me to imagine the combined IT staffs of Wells Fargo Bank and Comcast can't sort this out in a month. Some people report that neither Help Desk initially acknowledge an issue, then when pressed, the often blame the other for a known issue. I tend not to bother calling these kind of help desks as they rarely actually have any help to offer. Quicken seems to think deleting and recreating the Online connection, or removing and recreating the PIN vault is the resolution to all online issues.

Anyone else seeing problems with W-F online either thru their website or with Quicken? Especially, those using Comcast. FWIW, I do have the W-F iPhone App, and discovered it worked fine yesterday when all my home internet options were failing.

I have Quicken do all of my downloads at 6:30am in the morning. That includes stock trading, credit cards and W-F. I have never had the problems you describe with W-F but I am on Verizon FiOS, not Comcast.
