Has anyone made the move?
If so, how'd it go? Notice any changes?
Thanks!

Just completed my transition here in PA, and it went smoothly. Over the course of the past several months, my Visa card transitioned first, then my HELOC, and finally this past weekend my Checking and my Savings transferred. Wells Fargo seemed unable to deal with continuing the "free" Quicken access to the Visa and HELOC while the accounts were split across the two banks, but today, all four accounts re-linked up, and each downloaded fresh WF transactions. I'm kind of amazed.
Unfortunately, I got to the end of the instructions and found this statement:
"To thank you for your continued business, Wells Fargo will automatically waive the monthly fees associated with using Quicken for one month following your completion of the steps in this guide."
I am under the impression that I am grandfathered and otherwise special enough to continue to get "free" Quicken access in perpetuity. I am not so busy this rainy afternoon, so I've been on hold for about 20 minutes today to see if there is someone who might confirm that.
Good luck

Made the change as soon as it was possible. Zero problems.
Biggest change? Using a "real" password instead of a PIN.
Made the move here as well. 4 checking accounts and 2 Ccards. No issues at all. The downloads seem to happen faster and best of all it seems to have solved the Crash during One Step Update.
I have been paying for one account for bill pay and transaction download for many years. The new system seems to cover all of our accounts for one fee.
One thing for certain is to have all your scheduled payments either cleared or canceled before making the move.
I asked about this months ago and was told the benefits that were attached to the Wachovia Premium 50+ account would continue. If this is no longer the case, money is portable.

They added another account type for those over 50. The new type waives the monthly Quicken fees. You need to ask that your account is converted to the new type.
Does new account type imply new account number? Last year had to change all Wachovia accounts because of fraud/theft perpetrated against us, and was not placed in another account of the 50+ customers, as we had before. Would hate to have to go through all the contortions with changes to direct deposits and direct debits.

Except for not so hot tech support, I've gotten everything converted. When I let the conversion do its thing according to instructions either in the mailing or website, it could not complete and gave me a phone # to call. The woman at that end had to do something to finish it and I was then able to see my accounts normally online. I asked if there was anything special I needed to do to be able to do OSU from Quicken and she said no. That turned out to be false. It was in some documentation that I just didn't see: the standard deactivate the Wachovia accounts, and activate the Wells Fargo accounts.
Then I wanted to verify that I was grandfathered into free use of Quicken. The first # I called said I needed to connect with the Online tech support group, gave me their phone # and connected me. That gentleman said I need to connect to the Quicken support group, gave me their number and connected me. When the phone message started I knew instantly that it was Intuit tech support. Unless I was totally off the mark, Intuit was NOT who decided if I paid Wells Fargo allowing me to use Quicken. Called back the online tech support # for Wells Fargo, got a different guy, who laughed when I told him I had been sent to Intuit about this question. He just looked up my accounts and gave me the "yes" answer that I was hoping for.
I have a lot of empathy with anyone less accustomed to dealing with customer support people than most of us here are. Getting the right person to give you the right answer can be frustrating enough to drive you insane!

Huh! I've just been informed in two emails that use of Quicken is $3/mo. Can you give me the magic phone number?
Thanks.
I pay $5/mo and when I went into the bank, they told me I should be glad because most people pay a lot more. Not sure who to phone to get it fixed.
Well - if Capital One has branches in your area you could switch. As best I can tell Capital One is, for now, the new Wachovia.
That would be the Crown Classic account that was adopted from Wachovia.
