What was the best version of Quicken?

I have seen bad reviews for the last few products from Quicken....

What was the best version of Quicken? Your opinion?

My opinion is that every version is better than the previous version. However it's been a long time since the improvements of this years's version is *significantly* better than last years's and is worth buying a new version.

Q2015 is primarily bug fixes (plus, the credit score and monitoring). For the bug fixes alone, it gets my vote as the best.

AND, the reviews that I've seen all complain about the new requirement of t he Intuit ID and password ... not about the product itself. The Intuit ID isn't going to go away, so your choices are to STOP at Q2013 (and lose all download in April 2016) or to bite the bullet and learn to live with it.

I hate the intuit id, but in addition could this be a security risk to the user? I read there's been a breach at intuit and people who use TurboTax online have had their social security numbers and passwords stolen resulting in fraudulent tax returns being filed in their names. (Apparently that is not a problem for TurboTax desktop users) .

So I am more than interested in this subject.

Where did you "read" it? From everything that I have heard, including Intuit directly themselves, they have never acknoledged that THEIR systems were hacked.

Do you have a reliable source for the statement that you 'read' it?

Thanks!
