How do I stop Egg phoning me to try and sell me things? If it was important, they request you to phone them through email (like they have previously done). I can't find any where on the site where this can be set.
Any help would be appreciated.

You aren't alone. I had a savings account with them some years ago which I cleared out and then closed (I thought); they continued to email me and send me statements for years! tim
I sent them a secure e-mail asking them to stop calling me for sales purposes, and asked them to confirm they had actioned my request. A day or so later I got a reply saying my contact details had been removed from their sales database. So far so good, no further sales calls to my phone.
Will try doing this. Thank you for your help.

to stop unsolicited calls. Or next time they phone you, ask them to put your details on their internal suppress list. This should stop it. Alec
