Egg Website Problem

Is anyone having problems logging onto the

formatting link
website?

I have been trying to get onto the site for almost a week now to check my account but the home page won´t even load! Have tried lots of different PC´s. I can´t even get onto their ´Contacts´ page to send them an email or find any Egg contact details elsewhere. It´s also a bit tricky to call them as I am in Argentina!

Many Thanks

Worked for me last night.

Never had any problems from here, and it's fine right now.

Worked for me just now.

I have pasted the calling from overseas number below just in case you still can't get the website to work.

"Calling from overseas If you need to contact us from overseas please call us on

+44 1332 395 919."

I couldn't see an email address on the "Contact us" page. You need to login and use their "secure message" system, which obviously doesn't help you.

I cancelled my account in the end for a couple of reasons - one was

Its working fine for me from here in the Philippines.

Been a few comments in Thailand about people not being able to even get the log on screen - but definitely not everyone has problems as it works fine for me.

Maybe try a UK proxy (from

I've noticed commercials on tv for companies/websites that display the text "broadband connection required" - perhaps the Egg site is full of pointless Flash or Java nonsense and you've been using dialup, or an extremely slow/noisy line. Have you been trying using the same PC? Why not find a web-based internet speed checker and see what you're getting. Or perhaps your website has a `text only` option.
