General observation - too many levels to navigate to get to the important information.

Opening page Mission statements are bullshit imported from our 'have a nice day' cousins and puts people off.

On the few pages that I checked...

There is something very wrong with the rendering of the picture in the top right hand corner of the screen on the Jargon Buster page - using Opera 7.52

There is something wrong with the rendering of the picture in the top right hand corner of the screen on the Interest Rate page. The instructions are incorrect. 'Select all' doesn't show the interest rates - I have to press another button afterwards. The interest rates are poor when compared to some Internet savings accounts. In my opinion the order of the pages is the wrong way around. New customers should not have to guess which of the accounts gives them the rates they require before finding out the actual rates. Put the rates on the first page and the explanation of the account and T&C on a page below.

A pet hate - the use of web form in order to communicate with the company. Just give a contact email address?[1] Do away with the code that results in a 'please wait loading page' message - this is annoying. If the page takes so long to retrieve from the server it is too big and needs a redesign.

[1] This weekend I received a scam email that could result in the fraudulent removal money from the UK accounts of Barclays Bank Internet customers. I was going to inform the bank via email about the service provider and site that the criminals were using. Having found that Barclays only want communication via a web form that takes 10 times longer to fill out than sending an email I couldn't be bothered. BTW, these scam emails seems to be sent on a Friday evening with a new bank or building society being targeted each week. I guess the criminals believe that nothing will be done by the banks to shut them down over the weekend and this gives them a better chance to catch gullible victims.
