HSBC negotiations team?

Oct 27, 2006 4 Replies

Why flatmates cousin (who is overseas for 9 months) got a voicemail saying 'This is the hsbc (or barclays - I can't remember) negotiations team, please give us a call'.

But when my cousin called they woudn't say anything

What's a 'negotiations team?!?!?!'

It's the people who negotiate if a robbery turns into a hostage situation. Evidently someone held up a bank with a telephone number close to yours, and they got the wrong number.

Take advantage of the situation. Call them up and ask for free pizza and a helicopter.

Perhaps the original call wasn't for your flatmates cousin in the first place?
