I'm still waiting for

My customers have only recently claimed. One (who posted their claim off the day before the close date by special delivery) got an email acknowledgement (but still no payment). I don't think the others have had even that.

Please keep us posted (directly by email to me if you like - my address is valid).

Will do, I posted off the claim on the 12 March and received their email on the 23 March which stated,

Thank you for submitting your Boiler Scrappage Scheme voucher in order to claim your rebate. I can confirm this has been received. Your claim will be processed by our Grant Administration team within the next 25 working days.

They will mean Monday to Friday as the working days so it must be close now.

Still no funds received and its 25 working days on Tuesday. That will have been 33 working days from submitting the claim.

So Working Day 1 = 24 March, ... . . Working Day 25 = 29 April. That's Thursday, *not* Tuesday!!

Be that as is may, even if it had been Tuesday, why is Ken moaning

Also, if the *claim* is going to be processed within 25 WDs, i.e. this is the time withing which the claim will (it is expected) be approved.

Once approved, the matter will be passed to the payment department who may take an additional 25 WDs to print the cheque. After that, it goes to the mailing department.

according to the document I submitted, they pay by bank transfer...

OMG, that'll take even longer than printing cheques, but at least it eliminates the mailing department.

They might send the transfer form to their bank by post.
