In Credit SWALEC

Oct 23, 2006 4 Replies

I have just had a statement from my electricity supplier SWALEC informing me that I am 218.49 in credit. When in the past I have asked for the money back I get the response, ...... monthly account, winter coming, spread throughout the year, and basically 'no yer can't'!

Can I insist they refund me this amount? If so how?

Cheers

Why not ask them for interest to be paid if they arent refunding it. That may make them think again.

If you change off your current scheme to quarterly billing they will probably refund the balance.

Or switch to a cheaper supplier:

Yes.

Insist. If all else fails, you could write to them giving them 14 days to have a cheque delivered to you or you'll request the court to ask them nicely for it.
