I have now tried several times to cancel my 0% "&more" card, now that the 0% period has expired, but these clowns seem to make it almost impossible.
At first i tried the main 0845 number where you have to use you phone keys to type in your card number & dob, yet once you get through to their call centre in India you are asked by someone to repeat this all over again. Once you have gone through "security" and ask if you can cancel the card they seem to get "funny" about this request and say you need to speak to another department, and guess what......there is a long wait as it's "very busy at the moment" so you are put on hold for a long time.
I have not yet had the patience to hold more than about 10 minutes, and resorted to the "international callers" geographic number, which at least avoids the drawn out automated introduction, but they still need to transfer me and put me on hold.
In the end they offered to call me back, but I never got a call.
Should I just cut up my card and send it to the chester head office, or will this just mean I no longer have the bit of plastic?
