Unanswerable without a look at the scheme rules - contact the scheme managers/trustees and ask them. Many schemes quit paying if the spouse re-marries (although if the original pension was guaranteed for some number of years that period has to expire first) .. if that's the case, she may find it financially rewarding to 'live in sin' (whatever that means these days).

The rules may also say that the pension stops if she lives with someone, although I'm not sure how they would know if no-one told them ...
