Can somebody tell me what the following means. My wife has to sign the mortgage deed as an occupier but she is not a borrower or on the existing deeds. It says signed and delivered as a deed by the occupier, my wife signes here. It then says In the presence of, what goes in here? There is then a box for the witness signature, name and address.

Doesn't the witness sign in the 'In the presence of' box?
I would have thought so but there is another box for witness signature and another for witness name and address. I am waiting for the broker to get back in the office for clarification.
