The text needs to be read carefully to understand some potentially confusing terminology. For example:



"There are different features/restrictions of Recurring Transactions (RT) [or Continuous Authority Transactions] depending on which model you use: Direct Debit or one of the Credit Card models."



So if I have got it right they are saying there's a Continuous Authority Transaction modelled on a Direct Debit. But following the Direct Debit model does not mean it is actually Direct Debit as we know it.
