I'm looking for an online broker that will allow me to trade on the NASDAQ.

Try Imiweb.co.uk. I believe that Halifax have just bought them :)

But I don't know of any broker who will DD your current account when you place a trade; normally you need to move the money into a dealing account first, which is pretty easy.

Barclays will DD the money; I don't think they currently offer NASDAQ dealing, but they recently took over Schwab so it may change.
