SkyCard - sharp practice?

The direct debit on my Skyward normally goes out during the first week of the month, and for the full amount - it has been that way ever since I took out the card. Yesterday, the payment went thru' and I discovered whilst doing my online banking that only the minimum amount had been taken. I rang SkyCard and asked them why they'd only taken the minimum amount and was told that was how the DD was set up. I said no it wasn't and told them it was set up for the full amount and they could look at all the previous months to see the full amount being paid off. I then asked her to review my notes to ask when exactly I'd rang to ask for the change and she told me there was no notes to that effect. The last time I rang when I asked my credit limit to be reduced. She then noticed my credit limit had not been reduced which she promptly set about correcting as well/

In my experience it is not normal for a credit card company to change the DD payment from full to minimum without first speaking to the customer, so why they did it other than Skyward trying to be sharp and trying to earn interest out of me hoping I wouldn't notice. Anybody else had this?

One CC provider has been changing the date you need to pay by without properly telling it's victims.

Take your CC business elsewhere and write and tell them why.
