I'm a student with lots of experience using QuickBooks, Simply Accounting & MYOB.
I'm taking a course in AccPac and purchased the Student Version of the software.
Up until the last use (October 9) I've had no trouble getting into the software. I now cannot connect to the database, getting error 2 when attempting to load the database. I lost about 6 hours of homework.
I tried to reload my last backup. Creating the Pervasive databases was successful. When I try to set them up in AccPac using the Database Setup program. I get a message telling me the program "cannot connect to the database, it is not complete."
How do I fix this? Can I?
I've tried to uninstall and reinstall and I'm getting nowhere. Also, system restore didn't work.
