Peachtree 2003 is confused

I have a multi-user 2003 installation. New user to the organization has signed onto a box (running XP). When she tries to launch Peachtree, using icon that is shared with other users, receives error message: "Peachtree has detected that Microsoft Windows 2000 is installed on your computer and that you are currently logged on with restricted user rights. To run Peachtree Accounting, you must have non- restrictive (Power User or Administrator) rights. Check with your system administrator on how to change your Windows 2000 user rights."

This user has the same rights as all others who use the box (& successfully use Peachtree). She can login using another ID and Peachtree launches.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Hi Julie -

Make sure that user is a local administrator on that PC. I don't have a Windows 2000 box to verify, but I believe it is Start | Settings | Control Panel | Users. If you are running a domain, make sure that the domain user account is given local admin rights, versus a local user account for that user.
