2 (Unrelated) Questions - Please Explain

Hi All,

Q1) The journal Viewer seems to be not showing the full image of the printed transaction on only 1 of my installations. What setting could be wrong? This applies no matter what magnification I set it to and I have just discovered if an image is split into 2 parts then CTRL+right arrow shows the 2nd part of the image.

Q2) What really does the figure "Commiited" under items >Inventory mean? When I do a Layby (In Australian lingo) does the item become committed? ...And then when the layby is finalized (turned into a sale) the inventory quantity has committed subtracted from it? I ask because I have some long finalized layby's and there are >0 figures still showing in the committed column. Please Explain.

Also, if you do work orders it sends that inventory item to committed.

Dan,

You are just looking at the second (or more) pages of the receipt. If you print a credit card receipt, for example, the first page is your copy and the second is the customer's. If the receipt is too long, it will also have multiple parts. CTRL + right or left arrows move you between pages. If you are viewing the receipt, on the left, it tells you how many pages there are to this particular receipt.

From Help;

Committed: Displays the number of items that have been committed to the customer(s). This includes items on back orders, work orders, and layaways.
