Anyone with Transfer In/Transfer Out/Offline Inventory experience?

I have not been able to find any detailed information outlining the use of Transferin/Transfer Out/ Offline Inventory in RMS.

Has anyone had any real-life experience with this they could share?

You can also use this feature if you happen to have some merchandise you are sending back to the vendor.
