Auto Price change

I have a prospect who wants to have his POS system to automatically change his item prices according daily fluctuations in the Native currency he is receiving payment in from his Customers compared to the Foreign currencies he purchases them in (simply by changing the Exchange rates in the system, not by any Receiving voucher or manual Cost adjustment). Add to this, he would like it to reflect the different currency values per item according to the default currency assigned to the vendor the items came from.

This is a development that we would be happy to undertake, his will require to set up a margin % expectancy + or - a % and based on the cost fluctuation to have the product prices change whilst maintaing a Retail Price (so not a product that is 12.63). Also you should think of automatic label printing so that the shelf labels and item pricing can be updated. Contact me on the email so we can discuss this further. Let me know if this is a single store or is it HQ. Also do they use last cost or average cost calculation?

Hey Afshin, thanks for the reply--I should've known just to e-mail you directly!

Remember though, there is a much more extensive modification involved, and I think he is probably not up to the budget. I was taking a real long shot hoping there would be an add-on for this already. If you think about it in that he is coming from an Accounting background and is now selling things in his store from a basic POS attached to his SIMMS Acctg/Inventory system. I don't think he is going to find this much multi-currency functionality short of another fully configured and customized ERP system, if that.
