Custom website tie-in solutuon

I know this may or may not be an appropriate topic, but knowing the knowledge level of people on here with RMS and the general lack of knowledge outside of here, I thought this the best place to post this request.

I have a website

that is looking for some form of a tie-in with RMS, either on the store level, or with RMS HQ. Our site sells 2 different kinds of products: primary market and secondary market. I don't care at all about RMS tracking my secondary market - my website does that just fine. I have had an issue with primary market items, though. Between my store and my website, they sell. Without one talking to the other, the inventory levels on them become fairly messed up fairly quick. To be able to maintain a constant, accurate inventory, I need the two talking to each other. Now, the specifics:

#1 - The website is a custom job. It was not built using any templates or any existing system. It is a php front with a MySQL backend.

#2 - The things I need tracked would be inventory levels and pricing (probably price level B or something like that) for the items designated as website items.

#3 - Things I would like to stay synchonized would be things such as item pictures, item descriptions, and other things that could change in one place and I'd like to see sychonized with the others.

#4 - Things I don't care about at all involve tracking the actual sale of the items or any recording of those. Each system is perfectly capable of tracking it's own orders, and it makes it easier to keep those orders seperate.

to accept bids from people that feel they can accomplish this task. It's the one thing I need to be able to maintain a constant correct inventory.
