I want to be able to pull up a report that will show me when customers have spent more than $100 within either a month, or two months. I use custom date in the report, and get a blank report? Any advice?

Which report and what filters are you trying?
Sales | Top Performers | Top Customer | (Date Sold between mm/dd/yyyy and mm/dd/yyyy) AND (Sales > 100) works fine here.
