delete /create item

hi,



1- i want to know if the deletion of an item in HQ will delete all related data ( transactions ,alias..) in HQ database ,and dose it delete the item from store database automatically (and all related data ).
2- can creation of an item in store creat it in HQ after connection. thanks best reqards

Deleting an item in HQ does not delete the related transactions. It's best NOT to delete items unless there have been no transactional data against it. It's best to make the item inactive.

When you make the items inactive in HQ and run the appropriate HQ Worksheet (I forget which at the moment) the items will become inactive in SO and as such, will NOT be searchable or visible to the cashiers.
