Our POS is quitting fairly often throughout the day with a "time-out" error message (Error #-2147217871) then a run-time error 5. This happens for no particular reason (sometimes during a credit card transaction sometimes during cash sometimes when there are two transactions back to back sometimes when there haven't been any transactions for any length of time).
I did search through the forum but I have not found any solution yet. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Check all your peripherals, make sure there is no physical fault. Increase the timeout value on your configuration tab in SO Admin and see if this helps.
Lauren; Are you using PINPADS for debit cards? I amhaving this problem and most of the posts of crashing comes from the pinpad opos. Read the posts about error
