In RMS 2.0, is there a way for Force Logon for one terminal and not another? Before you ask what for, this customer has a till out the front they use for cash sales and out the back they use a PC for entering internet orders - alot of them... one after the other. Thanks for any help.
Force logon on one terminal but not for the other

There is no feature for this in RMS. There is no auto-logon period. There are product out there though, that you can purchase and install on only one computer that would make the logon process much faster. For instance we sell a Biometrics program that allows a cashier to login with the touch of a finger. Drop me an email if you have any interest in this.
The best way to deal with this is to close the POS application on the back pc and then disable the setting in RMS Manager "force logon after each sale". Then restart the POS application and you'll have a persistent login in the back but still be forced to logon after each sale in the front. You just have to make sure you don't close the POS in the front or else it will lose the setting. To streamline things there is probably a registry entry for this setting that you can manually control through a script in a .bat file that you can activate through a shortcut on the desktop or Start menu. That would be useful if you don't want to grant permission to change such settings in Manager.
