Please help, i'm trying to figure out how to reset the exclamation point on my store status in HQ Manager. I understand this exclamation means that a ws hasn't been processed correctly. I have 21 stores, all with exclamation points. Every one is sync'n fine, with no failed or partial worksheets. Any suggestions?

This is a confusing way to view the store communication status, in which the exclaimation point suggests a problem, but is there due to the intentional renewal of the 401 worksheet which is approved for processing but hasn't met it's time window yet. The two contradicting issues are even explained in the same section of the help file: Monitoring data upload status
It is important to make sure that the head office is in sync with the stores in your enterprise. In other words, are the stores uploading the right information at the right time?
Whenever you want to upload information from your store(s) you need to issue a Style 401: Request Data Upload worksheet. Just go to the Worksheets menu and select the worksheet. Then follow the wizard prompts and click Finish. After you approve the worksheet, it is ready for processing. Once the store processes the worksheet, a new worksheet is automatically created with the effective date and time set to the next scheduled connection. This perpetuates the data upload cycle.
There are a couple ways you can monitor the data upload status. The quickest way to view the status is to go to the View menu, click Worksheet Status, and then click the Show Store Status icon. At a glance you can find out the worksheet processing status for each of your stores. A yellow exclamation point next to a store shows that the store had some communication difficulties or did not fully complete all the assigned worksheets. A red dot indicates a more serious error. You can find out when and why the error occurred by viewing the Event Log for the store.
AHHHHA!!! I found it. In the table worksheetstore, is a field called Status. heheheh imagine that
If you change the status of the worksheetstore entry for a waiting worksheet, then that worksheet won't process. This is fine as long as all you want to do is turn the exclaimation point off, but most people have that
401 worksheet running because they want to continue getting updates from their stores.Join the Discussion
