IS anyone having any luck w/ this Import Wiz? I am trying to import a CSV. To the best on me knoladge, I am doing everything right. I go through the wizzard with a list of about 500 items, assign where everything goes, get 2 or 3 errors flagged, it says that the rest are OK. then WHAM! I get the following Error Message: (500 times!)

[2 - Failed to commit entity: Microsoft.Rms.Business.Import.ImportItem; Error message: Failed to create item. Failed to save. Exception has been thrown. -> Failed to save item for supplier. -> Failed to parse value for supplier import. -> Input string was not in a correct format.] WILLOW TREE,26207,26207,The Christmas Story Collection,80.00,80.00,638713262073,1,1,620,11,132,1,1

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, as I have tons of stuff to import. I now see why MS took away the support calls, with all the bugs in this, no one would ever get through! Thanks! David D. L.S.B.

We have now released our beta for RR Import Utility V5 that supports POS2009. This also includes a migration tool for RMS to POS2009 and POS2009 to RMS (for those that may need to change multi store and HQ). Contact me for information. This utility also allows you to bring historical data to POS009 or RMS from a third party system. Import Utility also has a Catalogue Function so that suppliers products sent to you electronically can be imported to update your price and cost and create new items that they may have added to their catalogue (you can select what to import and what not).

David,

I might be able to help if you can provide a little more information. Can you share the column mappings for the line in the error message?
