Internet Explorer 7

IE7 was release last week. By November first it's scheduled to hit Automatic Updates. I know RMS uses IE for various functions. So I'd like to know if anyone has installed IE7 and had any issues related to RMS with it.

I installed IE7 last week, no problems at all, although it does check your registration details to make sure you have 100% up-to-date and legal software on your PC.

I think it looks great, with the ability to have multi home pages, this speeds up my morning routine, where I open several pages.

Found a tweak for the menu bar if anyone wants to use it but doesn't like the new position.

Here is the registry hack to move the Menu back to the top in IE7:

1. Click Start, Run, and then enter regedit into the runbox
2. Press ENTER or click OK
3. Browse to the following key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser

1. Click the Edit menu in regedit
2. Select New and then DWORD value
3. The name should be highlighted in the right column. Just type over this to name it: ITBar7Position
4. Double click your new entry in the right column.
5. Change the value to 1.
6. Close regedit and open IE7 to see the change.

Moves the bar back to the top.

There are problems with IE7, RMS and Mercury Payments Credit Card processing.
