Could someone recommend a good handheld barcode scanner that works well with POS for .Net and is easy to get working. Currently, we are using a MetroLogic and are having a terrible time with it.

Symbol LS2208 handheld USB laser scanner.
Good price, plug and play, works well.

John,
Our guys like the LS2208 as well. Note that it doesn't come with the carriage return ( key) programmed in. Just scan the three barcodes on the left of the setup guide from top to bottom to get it working.
I also like the 4208 so far, it has a larger scanning area.
