Missing inventory item that still rings up

From your description, it sounds like this item is marked inactive, since it scans at the POS but doesn't show up in manager.

If you know the UPC, you have a few options. The easiest might be through the wizard in manager. Go to wizards/inventory wizard. Change the inventory tasks to "Make items active," then next, then change the option to "Add items manually." Then finish. You will be able to click "add", then scan the UPC. When finished click "commit."

We have an inventory item that cannot be accessed via inventory manager. It will ring at the register and display the name but we cannot see the item to make changes.
