PC Recommendation

I am running Store opration about 2 years and since I upgrade from qucksell



2000 I always have problem with PC Hard drive warming up and PC shut down middle of transation and It dont start until cool down then I tried with other pc and I have same problem. When I put same pc on back office It run perfect. Both pc is HP one Pavilian and other one Vectra series and both on window xp. I need Recommendation for Pc Which pc should I buy for my point of sale and It wont warm up beacause My business ours are 7AM TO midnight.

Which,

Sounds like a cpu fan or power supply issue.

Otherwise, anything with XP Pro installed on it with a minimum of 512 meg of RAM.

If moving the PC to another location solved the heating problem as I think you said, it's probably a problem with airflow and the placement of the PC rather than the actual hardware. If you put any PC in a confined space that restricts it's ability to get airflow you will have heat problems. You might want to consider a smaller form factor case - these tend to be somewhat more expensive, but might help address your heat issues. You should also make sure that the case vents are clean and that they are not blocked in any way.
