I am looking @ upgrading my database PC & was considering Win server 2008r2 as the OS. Does anyone have any experience deploying POS 09 on R2? Would I see any performance benefits & what might be some of the obstacles I may run into with this setup? My other option is Win 7 Pro 64 bit on a PC with a Quad core or i7 & 8 gigs of ram. I am just looking to speed up POS overall. Any feedback would be appreciated.
