Dear All,



I am facing one issue of connecting RMS client to HQ server:



Issue description:

--------------------------- Error #-2147467259 [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied. (Source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server) (SQL State: 08001) (NativeError: 17) No Help file available

Server information: Operation system: Windows 2008 SP2 SQL 2008 R2



Client: Operation system: Windows XP SP3



RMS 2.0 SP3



Any help please.

Thanks All,

I solved, it is related to firewall. I open ingoing & outgoing ports 1433 &

1434 on the server's firewall.

I found solution in earlier POST.

Hi, for me it didn't work, I had to add full path of executable (add program) to exceptions. Then it started to work.
