I am hoping to modify the POXfr.xml file to create a inter-store transfer slip that can be printed using the store's 40 col receipt printer. I do not need all of the fields currently in the form and the data I do need should fit. Is there any reason that this would not be possible or advisable? I have been told by others that it is not possible.

Have you tried to contact the customer support team? I have used them many times and they are very helpful. They have different levels of support members to help even the most complicated questions and problems regarding their POS software.
