Problem printing reports via RMS Manager

Hi. Sometimes (not always) when I try to print reports from RMS the first page comes out blank. Any reason why that is?

I don't have an answer for you, but I had the same issue first with a Canon and then with an HP printer I used to have. I now have a Lexmark and it no longer happens. So I was thinking it might have something to do with HP's and Canon's printer drivers. It definitly leads me to believe it's a printer issue, not with RMS. Craig

Is the page really blank, or does it have what looks like a postage stamp printed in the upper left corner? I have seen cases where the report gets printed in about a one inch square area - you have to look really hard to tell that it is the report nad not just a random blob. The fix is to 'touch' the printer settings before you print. You might be able to set a default paper size in the windows print driver settings, but for the locations that are affected by this, I've not found a 100% permanent solution - it always seems to recur eventually. I think that's another sign that this is hardware/driver related.

In my case only the Company name would print at the top and the rest of the page blank. I have seen reports with the little postage stamp size in the corner. That's not what it was in my case. Craig
