question before purchase the HQ manager...

hi, i only need to know how it works, in database words... for instance, i think it may be a desktop sofware with a own database wich connects to each store's database at the same time in order to make comparative reports, inventory transfer, etc...

For instance, i dont know if this would be doable if I purchase HQ: To place purhcase orders from one of my stores to other of my stores in case i need some inventory items from other store... and stuff like that...

I tried to search this kind of faq but didnt find it.

You install the HQ software at one of your locations and your stores contact it at a designated time that you select.

In general, when the store contacts HQ, it then sends changed information since the last connection to HQ and HQ sends new info down to the stores. That new info could be customers, items, purchase orders, inter-store transfers, etc. This is a very simplified description of what really happens.

You really need to contact your local reseller for more info.
