RMS database

would appreciate if someone can advise about the following;

1- We had some problem with our HQ Manager database and had to use a backup copy of restore data, this copy was quite old, now those database items created after this backup was taken are not visible in HQ Managerthere, although they can be seen in Store Operations Managers item's list of different stores. is their any possibility to synchronise HQ Manager & Store Operations Manager items list so that same items are visible for both.

2 - How do i delete all items, catagories, departments etc. at a particulars store so that the correct data is uploaded to this site again.

Kami,

You might be better off re-creating the HQ database from a store like you did when you first made the HQ db.. Your gonna lose some info at HQ, but have a more complete picture, new, I think.

Get with your reseller to discuss it in depth. Maybe they can merge old with new.

While you're at it, I would re-think your backup procedure as you shouldn't have lost more than a day's worth of info. Procedures we implement for our customers, average no more than 57 minutes!!

The old adage should apply, "You can never have too many backups!!"
