HI, I manage 3 different retail store chains that are located in 3 different HQ databases. I have this 3 databases contained in one Server. Right now I ahve to USe 3 Different machines with the HQServer programa installed to manage them, but I want to simplify, I want to put the 3 different HQServers in just one machine. Is that possible? If is so how?

You have the potential of running into conflicts and prior to version 1.3 there was a memory leak in HQ Server that made this sort of suspect, but:

open a command window and change directory to the RMS\Headquarters directory.

run the following command: hqserver /?

A dialog box will display showing you the command line parameters for HQ server and their usage.

You can create a shortcut using the command line parameters revealed to connect to each of your databases - make sure each instance uses a different port.

This is not exactly a recommended configuration, but it is possible. You may want to talk to your partner before implementing it...

It's actually mentioned in the eCourse for HQ, or at least it was when I took it two years ago... That's the only place I've ever seen it mentioned.
