I am looking for a replacement bar code scanner and receipt printer that are reliable, reasonably priced and easy to configure.
I have looked through the threads but I have found mostly hardware issues, not suggestions. I have a very small setup and just need replacements.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Hi Rick - ANy advice for error code 427. I am using a metrologic scanner and an error code pops up at start up that it is not recognizing the driver. I downloaded the most current on off the website. But the weird thing is the scanner works fine with the software. Any ideas?

What Model Metrologic scanner are you using? Most of them act as Keyboard emulation devices, and do not require and drivers OR setup in RMS at all. It sounds like you have that type of device, since it is working. Just go into SO Manager, Register Properties and clear all of the settings for the scanner - keyboard emulation devices should not be configured in Register properties...
