RMS Report Builder

What reporting tool does RMS use? I see that the report files have a .QRP extension, which is either QuickReports (doubtful, as that is a Delphi tool), Centura Report Builder, or Liberty for Windows report file. The file can be edited directly in NotePad. If I knew what reporting tool it used, I might be able to find a tutorial or some documentation.

I'm trying to customize a report. I've been able to add tables to the query, and add fields and expressions to the column list. I'd like the report to sort by a non-grouped field (customizing the Detailed Sales report, and I want it to sort by Sales Total), and I want to have more than one field in my grouping band (grouping by customer name, and I want the customer address and phone number to appear in the group band as well) and eliminate duplicate data from printing (don't want the customer name to print next to each line item).

I don't want to have to create Crystal Reports for every piddling little customization, but the three requirements above (sorting, multiple fields in the group header, eliminate duplicate data) are a must for my long-term reporting needs.

It uses Crystal Reports, but I've always just modified the .QRP files with notepad.
