Ok, I know I have asked for help before but now I am really really desperate!! I have a laptop computer that I have installed rms on for back office work. What I had wanted to do since I will be in another city restore the database on the computer hard drive. I had been running rms find will it was connected to my network at the store on the laptop. Now that I trying to run it alone it will not work. It will not connect to the server. ?Sql Server Does not Exist or Access Denied?
I have done a search of the website and located on source that I must use my IP address instead of local. My IP address is now entered. I still will not let me connect . I read a post from end of Aug first of Sept stating needing not just the IP address but another name. I don?t know where to get the second name or if that is my problem.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled 2 times. All I want to do is restore a backup to my laptop but since I can?t connect to SQL it will not let me.
I don?t understand. My HUGE TRADE SHOW STARTS THURSday and I will be traveling tomorrow without internet access most of the day. Please LIST any possible solutions for me. I am truly desperate
