Service Tracker

Hi Folks

Looking for something to be able to track service calls - ability to add notes, update status, etc... Looking at DRS Service Manager - looks nice but maybe too much for a small shop! Any other suggestion. Tired of using a scribbler for tracking repairs.

We are in the process of developing a service tracker for RMS. I have a check in system for repairs but the double entry is killing us. We created a web checkin page that allows you to select a customer for the RMS database and it creates a workorder with a Notes item. We populate the notes comment field with the repair notes. Then the tech can recall the workorder and add new notes skus with comments or add any items or labor needed. Then you just pick up the entire work order and invoice.

We are still working out some bugs but it should be ready in a few weeks. Shoot me an email if you want to take a look

We have many small stores running Service Manager. Some are even one-man shops. What's not to like? ;-) This utility streamlines your service dept operations regardless of your store size.

Dan-902, I have been using Service Manger and Status View from DRS for some time now. I must say that they are on top of their game and have a very well thought out product. They are well staffed and have great support. With their try before you buy you can't go wrong.
