After spending a little time checking out some of the items in the R30.09 "What's New" list, I have a few comments about two fairly minor issues.

Regarding: "Added ability to create ten more customized Portfolio views, for a total of nineteen Portfolio views."

That probably should read: "Added ability to create ten more customized Portfolio views, for a total of nineteen "customizable" Portfolio views". There were originally nine "customizable" portfolio views, now there are nineteen.

But even that new phrasing would not really be totally accurate: it has always been possible to customize ALL the portfolio views, of which there were originally 18 (9 pre-customized and 9 more with no customization). So there are now really a total of 27 portfolio "views", all of which are totally customizable (though 9 come customized out-of-the-box, you have always been able to alter those customizations).

[I have long wished for more portfolio views, so I'm pleased with this new capability.]

Regarding: "Removed invalid option to activate Quicken Bill Pay from an investment account."

This was only half done: the option to activate Quicken Bill Pay from the Online Services tab of the Edit Account Details dialog for investment accounts was removed; but the option to activate Quicken Bill Pay from the Account Overview for investment accounts remains (it shouldn't be a problem; just don't believe what you see there).

Is it me or did Quicken fix the Quote/Price of the Holdings and Portfolio views to not expect prices on the weekend? I would have sworn we used to get the small clock icon on Saturday and Sunday even when we had a Friday entry.

At one time, there was always a clock for weekend prices. But I think that was changed a long time ago, well before Quicken separated from Intuit.

I had an intense discussion with q.lurker, way back when, about why Quicken treated weekend (and holiday) prices as not current even when the most recent possible price (such as the Friday price for weekend displays) was in the Quicken file. I believe at the end of that discussion lurker and I sort of agreed that tracking holidays might be more work than it was worth, but that weekends were trivial to track. Not too long after that, I began to see no clock on weekend days when I had the Friday price in my Quicken file.
