Some HQ Questions

I have 3 questions related to HQ What is the easiest way to create a custom report? i.e. start a report from scratch rather than using the pre-defined ones Is there a way to view a global picture of what item quantities are in each store and have functionality in the same screen to perform inventory transfer? Is it possible to have a store which has quantities of stock at different locations. My client stores some stock in the store where he sells but then also has stock stored the warehouse? How can the client keep note of what quantities are stored in the store itself and which quantites are stored in the warehouse? Thanks :)

Definitely easier to modify an existing report than to start from scratch, though you definitely limit your options by doing so. I have modified several reports but never created a new one from scratch.

Not really. You might look into some of the add-ons that are available.

Again, not really; and again, you might look into some of the add-ons that are available.

There is a text field called Bin Location but it's practically useless. The only way to treat the warehouse as a separate location without add-ons would be to buy all of the RMS licenses & software necessary to make the warehouse it's own 'store' and use inter-store transfers.

Good luck, Tom
