TOM and Credit Cards

We are getting ready to attend a trade show next week and would like to use the Terminal Offline Mode to ring sales at the show. I have a couple of questions about this:

We will not have any network or internet access at the show. How can we accept credit cards without having to get a verification?

When we bring the terminal back to the store and synch up, will the credit card transactions just settle normally then, or are there special considerations?

Thanks.

Ugh. Voice auth sounds terribly cumbersome and slow.

There is actually Internet available, but it's rediculously expensive -- wireless is $750 and wired is $1500.

Tell me more about getting the Internet through a cell phone. This can be done in a way that RMS could dial out when it needs an auth?
